This is what you can do 1). Skip the disposable dishes and wash your dinnerware instead. If you do need to use disposable plates, bowls, and cutlery, there are climate-friendly options (look for compostable or biodegradable options). 3). If you order takeout, wash and reuse the plastic containers that food often comes in. Something has to change. The calvary arrived in the form of Keith on his tractor and we pitched in to clear a good 50 or so nappies ???????????? You can see the starfish were all inside the nappies today which was very sad. If you are on the beach and see a nappy please take it off. A coffee shop in Kent has made a brave decision to go ‘cup free’ and only serve customers who bring their own one into the shop, and to illustrate why they are doing this they filled their shop floor with disposable cups - more than 9 out of 10 nationwide do not get recycled!
